Course Deferment Application


Dear Enrolments Officer,

I am currently enrolled in the course identified below and I wish to defer my studies.
In accordance with the student guide I understand that a deferment of my studies is granted at the discretion of Plenty Training and that I must supply supporting documentation as part of this application. Acceptable reasons for deferment may include, but are not limited to, medical documentation, financial hardship, significant changes in employment status, or other personal circumstances that impact the student’s ability to continue with their studies.
Conditions and Limitations
  • Deferment requests are subject to approval and are not guaranteed
  • Students may only defer their studies once during the duration of their course.
  • The deferment period will not exceed three months under any circumstances.
  • Students will not have access to their Learner Portal during their deferment period.
  • Students are responsible for resuming their studies promptly at the end of the deferment period.
  • Students must apply to defer the course within the duration of their enrolment period. Applications made outside of the course enrolment period will not be considered.

    • Application process:
    1. Submission: Students must submit this Application for Deferment form online, along with the required supporting documentation.
    2. Review: The deferment request will be reviewed by our Management Team to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria.
    3. Decision: The student will be notified of the decision within five working days. If approved, the deferment period will begin on the agreed-upon date.
    4. Reinstatement: At the conclusion of the agreed upon deferment period, the student’s access to the course will be reinstated by the Administration Team and the deferred time will be added to the end of the original course enrolment period.
