Administration Team

Maria Morton
General Manager

Maria has a strong background in the training and education sector, both within Australia and overseas. She was previously the General Manager of a leading TESOL RTO and holds post-graduate qualifications in Professional Communications and Journalism. Maria oversees the everyday operations of the RTO, including marketing, finance, and operations. Prior to working in RTOs, Maria's career includes employment in senior marketing and public relations positions in both the private and public sector.

Donna Gibson
Administration Manager

Donna leads the administration team and has a long background in training administration and general management. She is also responsible for maintenance of our Student Management System.

Karen Lewis
RPL Manager
Karen joined us after a 25-year career in the Royal Australian Navy. She has extensive experience in managing and leading small and large groups of people and has spent the last three years training and assessing naval personnel. Karen manages all RPL applications as well as working on projects and assists with academic assessment.  Karen holds a Diploma of Telecommunications Intelligence and other vocational qualifications in training and management. 
Ashleigh Ridley
Marketing Manager

Ashleigh holds a Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Communications, and is responsible for the planning and execution of Plenty Training’s marketing activities.

Ashleigh joined Plenty Training as marketing coordinator in 2016 and has recently stepped into the senior marketing coordinator role. Prior to starting work with Plenty Training, Ashleigh held marketing and sales positions within the education and hospitality sectors.

Madi Funnell
Assistant Marketing Coordinator

Madi holds a Bachelor of Business, Major in Marketing and a Diploma of International Hotel and Tourism Management. Madi is responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of Plenty Training’s marketing activities under the Senior Marketing Coordinator. Madi joined the Plenty Training team in 2019 as a graduate of Bond University. 

Wendy Bayly
Student Enrolments

Wendy is our first point of call for student enquiries via phone and email and is responsible for student enrolments. Wendy is a former high-school teacher and has a strong passion for managing training processes.

Rosie Dunn
Student Enrolments

Rosie has a background in sales, employment and training. She has a Cert IV in Business, and a Diploma of Business Management, as well as other industry qualifications and training. Rosie has over 14 years experience in delivering high levels of customer service, and loves to help and advise people on making the right course choice.

Craig Vincent
Student Enrolments

Craig has a background in sales and account management within the technology sector. He has a proven track record in customer service and providing solutions from the individual level through to corporate customers.

Justin James
Student Enrolments
Justin has a strong background in sales with 13 years of experience within the health and fitness industry. Justin holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and is currently studying a Double Degree in Technology and Education. Justin has a passion for the education sector and providing high levels of customer service.   
Zhara Lau Diaz
Student Enrolments

Zhara has extensive experience as a Teacher and Trainer and holds a Bachelor of Education, Certificate IV in TESOL and IELTS. Zhara has a strong focus on helping others acheive their goals, and she will happily assist you in finding the best options to suit your needs. 

Heidi Pilz
Assessments Coordinator

Heidi takes care of assessment processing, office and student academic administration including issuing our graduates with their certificates.  She is an experienced RTO professional with a proven track record in customer service and office administration.

Cath Slattery
Administration Coordinator

Cath has a background in training and assessment, specifically within the hair and beauty sector. She holds a Diploma of Salon Management as well as a Diploma of Management and has had extensive experience in the hairdressing and management sectors. Cath has a passion for providing a high-level of customer service, and is often the first point of contact for our current students. 

Megan Grieve
Administration Coordinator

Megan assists with office support and student administration.  She has a strong background in administration with previous experience working in the education, training and government sectors.

Lee McDonald
Administration Coordinator

Lee has an extensive background in administration, in both the public and private sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts, and majored in Linguistics. Lee has over eight years experience in tertiary education administration, including experience in IELTS, and assisting international students. 

Michelle Stephens
Administration Assistant

Michelle has previously held roles in administration and has recently returned to the workforce. Michelle is responsible for assisting the administration team with day-to-day activities.

Training Team

Carl Mocnik
Academic Manager

Carl Mocnik is our Academic Manager, responsible for developing and managing all courses, and a trainer of our TAE, WHS and project management courses.  He commenced in the VET sector in the mid-90s when he managed several of the Technical Training Centre’s schools at HMAS Cerberus in Victoria, and was involved in the Royal Australian Navy’s transition from its in-house legacy based technical training system to the national VET system.  

After leaving the navy, Carl was involved in various projects around the world, and started and developed Plenty Training in 2010 which is today one of a very small and select group of RTOs providing the TAE40116 and TAE50116/TAE50216 qualifications across Australia.  Carl has post graduate engineering qualifications, and diplomas in training and education, WHS and project management.

Melinda Santer
Trainer and Assessor (TAE)

Melinda has extensive experience in RTO compliance, instructional design and facilitating training and assessment.  Melinda enjoys the opportunity to work with both fledgling and experienced trainers to deliver effective and enjoyable training.  Her background is with RTOs and enterprise trainers both in the public and private sectors.  Melinda holds a Bachelor of Economics and post graduate qualifications in human resources, and Diplomas in Vocational Education & Training, Training Design & Development, Leadership and Management, and WHS.

David Murray
Trainer and Assessor (TAE)

David has extensive experience as a trainer and assessor in both Australia and NZ.  He has a background in finance and mortgage broking and has lead teams in both large educational institutes and small private organisations.  David holds a number of qualifications including a Bachelor of Business Studies, Post Graduate Diploma of Business and Administration (Management), Post Graduate Diploma of Banking, Diploma of Leadership and Management, Diploma of Business, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and Diplomas of Vocational Education and Training and Training Design and Development.

Mel Best
Trainer & Assessor (TAE)

As a motivational speaker and trainer/facilitator, Mel has spent the past decade doing what she loves most – delivering training and training trainers. Her qualifications include a Diploma in Health Science, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate IV in Frontline Management, Diploma in Life Coaching, and she is a trainer and master practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Mel has delivered training both nationally and abroad in dozens of professional development workshops, seminars, and courses.  Mel is passionate, energetic and fun and believes in the power of laughter while learning.

Michael Shellshear
Trainer & Assessor (TAE)

Michael is a highly experienced trainer and assessor in the fields of vocational training, leadership and management and work health and safety. As well as being an Arts Graduate with majors in history and drama, Michael holds many vocational qualifications including Advanced Diploma of OHS, Advanced Diploma of Alexander Technique Teaching, Diploma Business, Diploma of Leadership & Management and Diploma of Vocational Education.

A Plenty trainer of many years standing, Michael also provides training for Australian corporations and is an experienced speaker on health and safety issues. Michael is the current Chairperson for the Australian Society of Teachers of Alexander Technique. Michael is an approved provider of Health and Safety Committee training with Safework NSW.

Julie McLoughlin
Trainer & Assessor (TAE)

Julie is an extremely experienced trainer, and was previously employed as the Safety and Training Manager at both the Melbourne Cricket Ground and Melbourne Racing Club. Julie holds a Bachelor of Education, a Graduate Certificate of OHS, Diplomas of Vocational Education and Training and of Training Design and Development, Diploma of WHS, Diploma of Leadership and Management, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a Graduate Diploma of Business - Sport Management. Julie is also a Chartered Professional Member of the Safety Institute of Australia.

Janelle Manton
Trainer & Assessor (TAE)

Janelle is a professional speaker and facilitator, a fully certified life coach and a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) master practitioner. She has been presenting professionally for many years in the areas of effective presentation skills, personal and professional development, business and events management. Janelle is passionate about assisting her students overcome the obstacles that limit their training abilities and she works diligently to help students become dynamic and confident trainers and speakers in their chosen field.

Roy Tyrrell
Trainer & Assessor (TAE)

Roy has 18 years experience in the VET sector; 12 years teaching woodwork at the advanced diploma level and six years in RTO compliance. Roy managed the compliance needs for a consortium of three RTO's including acting as a mentor for a National team of trainer assessors across multiple industry sectors.

Roy holds Diplomas in Vocational Education and Training, and Training Design and Development.

Ruth McAndrew
Trainer & Assessor (TAE)

Ruth has worked in the VET sector for over 20 years as a trainer and assessor, content writer and developer, and in RTO administration. She has delivered both face-to-face and online training in the vocational areas of Beauty, Business, and TAE. Her qualifications include Certificate III in Beauty, Certificate IV in Business, Diploma of Business, Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, Diploma of Vocational Education & Training and Diploma of Training Design & Development. Her passion is training, and her motto is "students first".

David Harrison
Trainer & Assessor (TAE)

David has spent the past 10 years teaching TAE in an RTO, as well as consulting to organisations on training and development. Prior to this, David worked in the fast food industry, based in USA, South Africa, and Australia, holding director roles in training, human resources, industrial relations, and operations. David holds Diplomas in Vocational Education and Training, and Training Design and Development

Georgi MacLeod
Assessor (TAE)

Georgi is passionate about facilitating quality education to enable others to realise their full potential both professionally and personally. Georgi has been training and developing people most of her life, beginning as a group fitness instructor in 1995 and later as a personal trainer. Georgi has a wealth of knowledge and experience in training and developing others in the health and fitness industry as well as vocational and tertiary sectors and to a large range of different learners. As a TAE trainer, she is interested in walking the learning journey with others – inspiring, motivating and empowering others to realise their goals through role modelling, support and the removal of barriers (real and perceived) wherever possible.

Sonia Tribe
Assessor (TAE)

Sonia comes to us after having worked for several RTO’s, in compliance, training and administration; with experience in resource design and development and student management systems. Having a passion for business and administration, Sonia has facilitated to hundreds of students since obtaining her Certificate IV qualification in Training and Assessment and Diploma’s in Business and Leadership and Management. Sonia’s love for learning did not keep her out of the classroom for long, undertaking further studies to gain two more qualifications, the Diploma in Training Design & Development and a Diploma in Vocational Education & Training. Sonia’s most recent role has been delivering and assessing the TAE and she continues sharing her passion for knowledge with students across Australia, promoting excellence in vocational education delivery, inspiring and mentoring trainers.

Chantal McGinley
Assessor (TAE)

Chantal has worked in the VET sector for the past 19 years in Training and assessment, compliance and administration. Chantal is an experienced facilitator, passionate about student learning and engagement and enjoys taking the educational journey with her students giving them a wonderful learning experience to fulfil their greatest potential. Chantal’s experience extends to face-to-face and online training in the vocation areas of TAE, Leadership and Management and Retail . Chantal holds qualifications such as Diplomas in Training Design & Development, Vocational Education & Training, Leadership and Management , Retail Management, Cert IV in Training and Assessment and Master Practitioner of Neuro – Linguistic Programming.
