As a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment student you are required to deliver three major presentations as part of your course.

As leaders in the TAE field we are committed to ensuring our students have access to the resources they need throughout their course, especially when it comes time to complete the more stringent and major practical assessment activities.

The unit TAEDEL401 Plan, organise and deliver group-based learning requires you to deliver two consecutive training sessions of at least 40 minutes duration to a learner group of at least eight individuals; plus another presentation to a group of at least eight individuals.

Students can also use these presentations to satisfy the two presentations required for BSBCMM401 Make a presentation and TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills units.

As a current or future Plenty Training student you can rest assured that as a critical component of your TAE40116 course we have you covered!

How to complete this portion of your course

Our Distance+ Course students are afforded the opportunity to deliver their presentations via a Plenty Training delivery workshop. Our workshops are an extremely popular option for our online students who are looking to simply deliver their presentations and not worry about the logistics of finding the required participants, let alone finding a time that suits everyone.

Students who are enrolled in our popular Intensive+ Class pathway will deliver their presentations during the face-to-face component of their course.

Students who wish to complete these presentations under the guidance of a qualified trainer and in the company of their peers have the option to attend one of our interactive online delivery workshops from the comfort of home.

What to expect from our three-day interactive online workshop

Our three-day interactive online delivery workshop is delivered via the interactive Adobe Connect platform which allows students to see, hear and interact with each other throughout the session.

Thanks to the power of Adobe Connect students have the opportunity to deliver their three major presentations without stepping foot outside of their front door! Throughout these sessions students are able to share resources such as powerpoints with each other, interact verbally as well as through a chat function, and request feedback to meet the requirements of the units.

You don’t need to be an Adobe Connect wizard to attend these sessions. One of our trainers will be in control of the session making sure you are where you need to be at all times.

To attend this session you will need to have access to a computer with a good internet connection, webcam and audio functionality.

(Example of an Adobe Connect presentation workshop. Please note this
is only an example of what to expect, real sessions will have at least eight attendees per presentation)

We are all about comfort here at Plenty, but it’s important to remember that in this interactive online session your peers can see you at all times which means we recommend you don’t wear your pjs for this one!

When should you book for a delivery workshop?

We strongly recommend that you do not book your workshop until you have completed the workbooks associated with each of your presentation components (TAEDEL401, BSBCMM401 and TAELLN411).

Detailed information about creating your session plans and delivering your presentations is provided within our workbooks. You will gain immediate access to this information upon enrolment in the TAE40116 course.
