Is the daunting prospect of vocational placement on your mind?
The good news is, when you ask the right questions and carefully choose your TAE provider, vocational placement should not be on your mind at all! All Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) are not created equal, and the requirement for vocational placement is a big reason why.
Plenty Training does not require its students to undertake any vocational placement!.
What is vocational placement?
Vocational placement is the requirement for a student who is completing a course to undertake practical training and gain experience in a real-life workplace. As a TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment student some providers will require you to undertake a vocational placement in an RTO to meet some of the assessment requirements. In our opinion, as industry leaders, this is simply just poor TAE40122 course design. Undertaking vocational placement for the TAE eats into your valuable time and can also be difficult to organise.
Can you imagine trying to organise your own vocational placement in a busy RTO on any given day, let alone in a COVID 19- affected area right now?
It is important to ask the right questions! As a future trainer and assessor you will no doubt be doing your research into providers of the in-demand TAE40122 qualification.
We want you to put them to the challenge and ask the tough questions surrounding vocational placement.
Am I required to undertake vocational placement as part of this course? If yes, why are these requirements not covered in your TAE40122 in-house resources?
If you are not satisfied with their answers, be sure to find an RTO such as Plenty Training who has designed and created resources to ensure their students DO NOT need to complete any vocational placement as part of their course.
Why does Plenty Training not require any vocational placement?
We have designed and created a range of resources and all-encompassing assessment tasks to ensure our students are not required to undertake vocational placement.
So what does that mean?
To put it simply, our academic team has ensured that our students have the resources they need at their fingertips.
Some examples include:
- One-day assessment workshops which cover the stringent requirements of the TAEASS413 Participate in assessment validation unit (included in course fees)
- Optional delivery workshops to assist students who want or need assistance with the requirement to deliver three major presentations (additional fees apply)
- Access to other learners via our face-to-face classes or via our Facebook Student Community Group
We hope all your questions about vocational placement have been answered and you feel confident in Plenty Training as an innovative and student orientated provider. As a soon-to-be trainer and assessor you need to be armed with the right knowledge to make the best decisions for your upcoming study journey.
