GENERAL ENTRY DETAILS

This pathway is only available for individuals who either:
  • Possess a Bachelor or Diploma in Teaching and have worked as a school teacher within the last two years,
  • Have worked as a lecturer within higher education within the last two years, or
  • Have worked as an enterprise trainer within the last two years
  • Drop files here or

      As part of the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment - Workplace Trainer's RPL+GAP pathway you can gain up to four units via the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process.

      TAEDEL405 Plan, organise and facilitate online learning
      TAEDEL416 Facilitate learning for young vocational learners

      BSBCMM411 MAKE PRESENTATIONS

      I can provide session plans for two different presentations I have developed, prepared and delivered (each presentation must be at least 30 minutes duration and different topics from each other) from within the last two years

      TAEDEL311 PROVIDE WORK SKILL INSTRUCTION

Note: At least one must be delivered to an individual and at least one to a small group of at least two learners

      I can answer questions on adult learning principles and how these are applied to my work skill training sessions
      I can answer questions on coaching, mentoring, facilitation and training techniques and their relevance to my work skill training sessions
      I can answer questions on learning preferences and how these can be applied to my work skill training sessions
      As you have answered NO to one or more of the above questions relating to the TAEDEL311 unit you are likely ineligible to undertake this unit via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

      TAEDEL405 PLAN, ORGANISE AND FACILITATE ONLINE LEARNING

      I can provide session plans and evidence that I have organised and facilitated online delivery. These plans must include at least two synchronous live sessions and two asynchronous activities to the same group of three or more learners and formative assessment activities.
      Each synchronous session above was at least 30 minutes duration and involved facilitation between the learners and facilitator within the last two years
      I can provide evidence of having delivered the above learning program (such as recordings, online registers, correspondence, Learner Management Sysytem reports, or emails)
      I can provide evidence of the asynchronous activities conducted as part of the above program (such as completed work records, Learner Management System or student reports, or emails)
      My Supervisor or Principal is willing to certify in a Statutory Declaration that I delivered the presentations and they witnessed various aspects relating to their effectiveness

      I can discuss the various online platforms (such as Zoom, MS Teams, Adobe Connect, or GoTo), tools and applications (such as breakout rooms, group chat functions, kahoot, or Google Drive, or Youtube) used in the facilitation, key features and sustainability of those I used
      I can answer questions on how to support learners with a range of technical and LLN issues in an online environment
      I can answer questions on adult learning principles and how these are applied to my online facilitation sessions
      As you have answered NO to one or more of the above questions relating to the TAEDEL405 unit you are likely ineligible to undertake this unit via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

      TAEDEL416 FACILITATE LEARNING FOR YOUNG VOCATIONAL LEARNERS

      Individuals who are unable to complete the TAEDEL416 Facilitate learning for young vocational learners via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) will instead complete the unit TAEASS404 Assess competence in an online environment via their selected training pathway.

Note: To be valid, an "other recognised framework" must consists of a formal framework that includes specific training objectives and performance criterion and involves the clear transfer of vocational knowledge and skills (Such as, carpentry, metal fabrication, cooking

      I can answer questions on engagement techniques and learning theories relevant to young vocational learners
      I can answer questions on how I establish a safe and inclusive environment
      I can answer questions on behaviour management strategies for young vocational learners
      As you have answered NO to one or more of the above questions relating to the TAEDEL416 you are likely ineligible to undertake this unit via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
