TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – Optional Face-to-face Workshops

Our face-to-face Workshops provide a range of options for students completing their TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Workshops covering specific units are available for purchase by students to assist them with completing the practical^ assessment tasks associated with the relevant units.

^ A practical assessment activity is defined as an assessment task where you must have access to other individuals, groups or a qualified trainer and assessor to meet the task requirements. For example short answer questions are not considered a practical activity.

TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – iClass+ Short Answer Question Workshops

Our iClass+ Short Answer Question Workshops are designed to enhance your skills in handling short answer questions within your design units. Workshops covering specific clusters are available for purchase by students to assist them with completing the short answer tasks associated with the relevant units.

TAEASS413 Participate in assessment validation – One-day interactive online workshop for TAE40122 students (including TAESS00019 + TAESS00024 Skill Sets)

Students enrolled into the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment have a one-day interactive online workshop, 9am – 5pm (Queensland time), included in their course fees to complete the more difficult assessment tasks for this unit which must be witnessed by a qualified assessor. This workshop is delivered via an online iClass+ platform and seats are limited to ensure the best possible student experience.

We recommend students completing the full TAE40122 complete their TAEASS413 Participate in assessment validation workshop once they have completed their design and delivery units. To check availability or to book your seat in an upcoming TAEASS413 workshop please email us at [email protected].

BSBINS303 Use knowledge management systems – Half-day interactive online workshop for TAE40122 students

Students enrolled into the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment have a half-day interactive online workshop, with two sessions being run on each scheduled day, at either 8.30am – 12.30pm or 1pm-5pm (Queensland time) and is included in the course fees. This workshop is delivered via an online iClass+ platform and seats are limited to ensure the best possible student experience.

Five-Day Intensive Assessor Skill Set Workshop

Students undertaking the TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set can benefit from customising their course with an optional intensive five-day Assessor Skill Set workshop offering students the incredible opportunity to complete all practical assessment tasks and many short answer questions in an online classroom environment.

This five-day workshop is available exclusively for Assessor Skill Set students and offers an environment where they can fast-progress through their studies in a fast-paced online classroom.

This workshop is available for $520 and all five-days must be attended in full to ensure the successful completion of all practical elements and short answer questions.

To ensure students get the most of our optional workshop there are pre-class activities that must be completed prior to attending (around 8 – 12 hours).

Students who attend the five-day workshop are not required to attend the one-day TAEASS413 Participate in assessment validation workshop as it is included within the workshop days.

*This optional workshop cannot be taken independently of the TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set Course and therefore the additional $520 is to be paid in addition to the $1,290 standard course fee.

TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools – iClass+ course schedule

The TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools iClass+ course is available as both a three-day and two-day program. These iClasses provide students with the opportunity to complete assessment tasks from their TAEASS502 workbook under the guidance of a qualified trainer in an interactive online classroom environment delivered via the Adobe Connect platform. Online enrolments are not available for our three-day iClass+ course. To book your seat in our three-day option please call the office on 1800 786 651.

Note: These iClass+ programs are also available for students who are enrolled or are enrolling into the full TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment course.

Study Support Sessions –
TAE40122 / TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (all pathways, TAE Skill Sets, and TAE single units)

Students enrolled in the TAE40122 / TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training, TAE Skill Sets or Single Units have access to weekly trainer-led study support sessions.

These sessions are scheduled to run every Tuesday from 5:00pm (QLD time) and will cover topics such as where to get started with your course, technical issues, and addressing any course/assessment questions you may have. You do not need to have any questions prepared prior to coming to a study support session – you never know what handy tips you might pick up by attending!

To join your desired study support session login to your Learner Portal and click the ‘STUDENT SUPPORT’ tab. Once you have been directed to the student support section of your Learner Portal select ‘ACADEMIC SUPPORT’ and click on the link to attend your support session. There is no need to register your attendance in advance for these sessions.

Study Support Sessions –
TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education & Training and/or TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design & Development plus TAERES501 Apply Research to Training & Assessment Practice

Students enrolled in the TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training and/or TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design & Development or the TAERES501 Apply Research to Training & Assessment Practice courses have access to trainer-led Q&A support sessions.

These sessions are scheduled to run on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 5:00pm (QLD time) and will cover topics such as where to get started with your course, technical issues, and addressing any course/assessment questions you may have. You do not need to have any questions prepared prior to coming to a study support session – you never know what handy tips you might pick up by attending!

To join your desired study support session login to your Learner Portal and click the ‘STUDENT SUPPORT’ tab.
