4. Professionalism! Holding the most current TAE40116 qualification shows your commitment to ongoing professional development and ensures you remain at the forefront of the industry.
1. What’s the difference between the TAE40110 and the TAE40116? The TAE40116 consists of nine core units plus one elective unit. The superseded TAE40110 consists of seven core units plus three elective units.

The TAE40110 plus the units TAEASS502 and TAELLN411 is still a valid qualification to work as a trainer and assessor. However, by updating to the latest qualification you will be setting yourself apart from your peers, and showing a commitment to continual professional development that is valued so highly in training and assessment roles. Also, you may recall when the TAA40104 was replaced by the TAE40110 back in 2010, it wasn’t long before employers became reluctant to accept trainers with the superseded qualification. Be prepared for the inevitable!
